Bruder Springstead LLP is pleased to announce and welcome the following new associates: Krystal Leonov, Shannon Mulholland, and Caitlin Fraser.
Krystal practises civil litigation with a focus in insurance-related litigation, including, but not limited to, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, fire loss, coverage opinions, and professional negligence. Krystal attended the University of Ottawa and received her J.D. in 2017. While in Ottawa, Krystal was actively involved with local charities and student groups including the Ontario Arthritis Society and Women’s Legal Mentorship Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University.
Shannon practised exclusively in insurance defence litigation at a firm in London, Ontario. Her practice encompassed a diverse range of insurance issues including motor vehicle accidents (tort and accident benefits), occupiers’ liability, municipal liability, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, institutional liability, and priority disputes. Shannon received her J.D. in 2016 from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University as part of the Charter class.
Prior to joining Bruder Springstead LLP, Caitlin practiced at a boutique law firm in Vancouver, British Columbia with a focus on plaintiff personal injury and related insurance issues. Her practice included motor vehicle accidents, occupier’s liability, medical malpractice, and class actions. Caitlin received her LLB in 2015 from the University of Birmingham. She articled in 2016 and was called the to British Columbia Bar in 2017. Caitlin was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
